MISSOULA — Showers keep falling in Western Montana this afternoon and evening.

Rain will become less widespread through the later hours of the night, but spotty overnight showers are still possible.

Another cooler night is expected as lows get down into the mid to low 40s again tonight.

Some areas in upper elevations may even see small amounts of snow accumulation.

These include areas above 8,000 ft.

Tomorrow another round of showers develops through the afternoon and evening.

Cooler than average highs are expected once again.

Thursday’s warmest temperatures will be in the mid to low 60s.

Cooler overnight temperatures Thursday into Friday will allow the snow level to drop to 7,000 ft in Western Montana.

This means areas like Lost Trail Pass will likely see some snow accumulation- especially on unpaved surfaces.

Another rainy day returns to the forecast Friday.

We are still watching models trying to agree on Saturday’s weather forecast.

Right now, we expect a drying trend and a slow warming trend.

We will continue to keep you updated on the changing forecast as we get closer to the big game on Saturday morning.
