MISSOULA — Spotty showers fell across Western Montana this afternoon, and tomorrow similar.

Spotty showers remain in the forecast Saturday, but we are still on that warming trend through the end of the weekend.

Highs tomorrow will reach into the low 50s, and we will hit the mid to low 50s through the beginning of next week.

Changes move in (rain and snow wise) as we move into the end of the weekend.

Sunday’s forecast will be warm but wet. Widespread rain and snow showers will be back, so if you are starting that Spring garden, keep in mind you may not have to water it for the next few days!

This rain and snow will last from Sunday through next Tuesday.

Rain will fall in valleys with some snow mixing in through the overnight hours. Impacts are likely to remain in upper elevations on hillsides (like the Rattlesnake, Swan and Seeley Lake etc.) and though mountain passes.

Otherwise valleys may get a skiff of snow overnight, but this will melt quickly with those 50s in the forecast.

We leave out the widespread rain and snow to end next week, but we are monitoring a few different models which indicate a cold-snap in store for us.
