MISSOULA — A weak cold front will bring increasing clouds, breezy winds and slightly cooler temperatures to the northern Rockies Friday with highs in the low to mid 80's.
As the winds pick up, fire danger will increase. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for portions of southwest Montana from Philipsburg down through Butte, Dillon and Ennis. Winds 15-25 mph along with gusts around 35 mph and low relative humidity will all lead to the increase in fire danger today.
The weekend is shaping up to be very nice with sunny skies and high temperatures ranging from the low to upper 80's.
Warmer air will move into the forecast Monday and continue through out next week. Expect highs to return to the low 90's by Monday then steadily warm into the middle or even upper 90's by the middle of next week.
