MISSOULA — Expect afternoon temperatures to top out in the low to middle 50's Monday with clouds during the morning then more sunshine by the afternoon.
High pressure will build over the northern Rockies Tuesday and Wednesday. This will lead to a warming trend with highs in the upper 50's to low 60's Tuesday then low to upper 60's Wednesday.
Our weather pattern will start to change Thursday as the first of a series of weather systems impacts the Region.
This first system Thursday will bring scattered valley rain and mountain snow to the northern Rockies. These showers will then linger into Friday with high temperatures topping out in the low to middle 50's Thursday and Friday.
Another system will bring another round of rain and snow showers to the forecast Saturday and Sunday. This next system will also bring cooler temperatures as highs drop into the 40's through the weekend. Expect the valleys to start off as rain, then potentially change over to a rain snow mix Saturday night into Sunday morning.
