MISSOULA — For today, expect mostly cloudy skies with some sun mixing in this afternoon. A few light snow showers or flurries can't be ruled out as well. Highs will top out in the middle to upper 30's.
A weak system will bring more widespread light snow tonight into early Wednesday morning. Snow is most likely from the southern Mission Valley south through the Bitterroot Valley. Very little snow accumulation is expected.
Expect mostly dry conditions Wednesday and Thursday with a periodic mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 30's Wednesday and upper 30's to low 40's Thursday.
A more active weather pattern will develop Thursday night and continue through the weekend. Several weak storm systems will bring accumulating snow back to mountain passes while valleys will once again see off and on snow or rain/snow showers.
High temperatures will remain right around seasonal averages through the weekend topping out in the middle to upper 30's.
