MISSOULA — A weak weather disturbance will keep scattered showers in the forecast Thursday. While mountains see off and on snow, valleys will see scattered snow showers during the morning with that changing to a rain/snow mix by the afternoon. Very little to no snow accumulation is expected in the valleys.
Starting Friday and continuing through the beginning of next week, slightly cooler temperatures and drier weather will move in. Highs will top out in the middle to 30s to low 40s Friday through Monday with a mix of sun and clouds.
By Tuesday of next week, models are showing another round of unsettled weather returning in the form of valley rain/snow and mountain snow.
