  Oxbow wins Preakness Stakes

  Oxbow, after a sixth-place showing at the Kentucky Derby, led wire-to-wire to claim victory Saturday at the 138th running of the Preakness Stakes. The horse, ridden by veteran Gary Stevens, dashed the Triple Crown hopes of Orb, which finished fourth at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

  The timing couldn't have worked out better for Brielle Rolle. Just when she realized that going out of state to attend college wasn't the great idea she had initially thought it to be, her hometown volleyball program had a need to fill, and she fit the position perfectly.
