THOMPSON FALLS – A 45-year-old Mineral County inmate who was being housed at the Sanders County Detention Center died on Tuesday.
Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel reports at this time the death is believed to be medically related.
Sheriff Rummel says pursuant to standard procedures regarding in-custody death, a request was made to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, which will conduct the follow up investigation and will perform coroner duties.
