HARDIN — Big Horn County officials announced Monday the county's 16th COVID-19-related death, a man in his 70s.
The man had been hospitalized prior to his death.
In addition, the county announced nine new COVID-19 cases, Monday.
Seven likely contracted the disease through community spread, while the other two had known contacts, according to county health officials.
Big Horn County now has 680 cumulative cases of COVID-19 to date.
There are currently 116 active cases in the county.
