MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) is reporting a total of 61 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases since the Wednesday update.
The total number of cases now stands at 4,850 cases including 3,973 recoveries and 43 COVID-19 related deaths.
There are currently 834 active cases, down from the 916 that were reported on Wednesday. A total of 32 of the active cases in Missoula County are associated with the University of Montana.
There are currently 37 active hospitalizations due to COVID-19, including 13 Missoula County residents.
The average of daily new cases per 100,000 has fallen from 53 reported on Wednesday to 51. The MCCHD goal is to bring that number down to 25/100,000 people for two consecutive weeks or more.
The Missoula City-County Board of Health updated the local COVID-19 restrictions on Nov. 19.
Missoula County residents can call 406-258-INFO weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to discuss COVID-19 information.
