MARION – Tuesday is the last day that residents can cast their ballots on a $4 million bond request to fund a new Somers Fire Hall.
The new firehouse would make room for six trucks and would also have a community space, and a trustee room. The current fire hall is 60 years old.
The bond needs more than 30% of voters in the district to vote in order for the election to be valid.
The ballots are due back by 8 p.m. Anyone who has not yet mailed in their ballots needs to now drop them off at the elections office on the second floor of the Flathead County South Campus building in Kalispell.
