MISSOULA — Saturday evening the Garden City kicked off the holiday season with the 17th annual Parade of Lights event in downtown Missoula.
The event was an all day and started at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography with free family portraits.
The rest of the day was filled with family friendly events for everyone including tons of arts and crafts, music and food.
There were even some rumblings about Santa Claus himself being at the event.
This years theme for the event was "lights around the world" which Missoula's Downtown Association hopes will welcome and encourage all cultures and religions to celebrate the holiday season in downtown Missoula this holiday season.
