POLSON — The Port Polson Players will cancel their summer season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But the good news is, the audience will know exactly what to expect next year.

The Port Polson group had been excitedly looking forward to their 45th season of providing great entertainment for summer visitors and residents alike. Initially, the theater had hoped for a delayed opening this coming weekend. But after meeting with Lake County health officials and CSKT tribal leaders, the theater's board of directors decided it was based to postpone the entire season.

That means two shows, which had already been produced and were ready to start, and a third scheduled for rehearsals to begin, won't happen this summer. However, the theater has decided to just carry the entire lineup over to next season.

Port Polson Players only sell tickets at the door, so there will be no complications in making refunds.
