MISSOULA – A man who was found dead behind a business on Brooks Street in April died from complications of chronic alcoholism.
The body of Geoffrey Morris, 56, was found April 29 in bushes behind the First Interstate Bank on the 3500 block of Brooks Street.
Missoula police told MTN News in earlier reports that due to the body’s condition, they believed it had been there for “some time”.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Brenda Bassett said the coroner was waiting on toxicology reports.
Bassett said the official cause of death is listed as natural, due to complications of alcoholism.
