A group of people gathered for a candle light vigil in honor of former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Yellowstone County Courthouse lawn Saturday night.

Attendees sang a quick rendition of Woody Guthrie's song "This Land Is Your Land" and gave chants of "R-G-B" while holding candles and flashlights.

Ginsburg died Friday at the age of 87 in her home after suffering pancreas cancer.

Some members of the group got in front to speak to the impacts Ginsburg had on the country and their lives.

People touched on Ginsburg's passion for women's rights and encouraged people to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

The event was organized by the local Yellowstone County chapter of Indivisible - a group that promotes civic organization.
