POLSON — Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a Sunday crash in the Mission Valley.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office reports that Harold Walter Rodriguez, 33, of Miami, Florida died in the accident which happened on Moeise Valley Road.
Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch reports a 2005 Subaru Forester was heading northbound on Moiese Valley Road when the driver lost control.
A woman was trying to negotiate a curve when she over-corrected, sending the vehicle off the road. It then overturned and hit a tree.
The passenger, Rodriguez, was sitting in the front seat and was ejected on impact. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver, 34-year-old woman from Ronan, and a 30-year-old woman from Polson were also injured in the crash.
Alcohol and speed are thought to be factors in the crash, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
