MISSOULA — University of Montana Athletic Director Kent Haslam reached out on Monday with a letter outlining his hopes for the Fall sports season.

Colleges around the country are having to take a hard look at how to pull off a football season safely as the COVID-19 pandemic persists.

Alabama and Oklahoma State have already seen positive COVID-19 cases after allowing students back on campus.

The University of Montana is now allowing student-athletes back on campus and plans on having games come Fall.

Coach Bobby Hauck and Haslam will hold a news conference on Tuesday afternoon to talk more about the issue.

We will have full coverage about the UM Fall sports season and COVID-19 on Tuesday and will also stream the Zoom meeting beginning at 2 p.m.
