MISSOULA — Off and on snow showers will be in the forecast throughout the day Monday.
Little snow accumulation is expected in the valleys, however, models are showing the potential for some snow bands to develop. Under the stronger bands brief bursts of heavy snow will be possible. High temperatures will top out in the 30's Monday.
Expect a dry day Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds overhead and highs in the upper 30's to low 40's.
A few light showers will return to the forecast Wednesday. Mountains will have the best chance to see light snow while valleys will see a rain/snow mix as highs warm into the low to middle 40's.
Dry weather is expected Thursday and Friday with slowly warming temperatures. Highs will be in the middle 40's Thursday with upper 40's to even low 50's Friday.
Active weather looks to return for the weekend with scattered rain/snow in the valleys and snow showers in the mountains. Highs will remain in the upper 40's to low 50's Saturday then drop into the low to middle 40's Sunday.
