MISSOULA — Missoula police cancelled the emergency travel alert. Miller Creek Road has also reopened.

MISSOULA — The Missoula Police Department issued a MEANS alert Monday night, requesting emergency travel only due to hazardous road conditions throughout the city.

The Missoula Sheriff's Office also issued a MEANS alert at 8:15 p.m. advising travelers to avoid Miller Creek Road due to dangerous road conditions.

Travelers are asked to use an alternative route from Lower Miller Creek to Linda Vista.

The Sheriff's Office is asking people not to call 911 regarding the alert.
