WHITEFISH — Whitefish officials have announced that a pedestrian bridge has been closed until further notice.
The East Second Street Bridge over Cow Creek has been closed because of "decaying structural integrity and continued erosion that has compromised bank stabilization," an alert states.
Whitefish Parks and Recreation is applying for permits to remove the span.
The release notes no money has been identified for a reconstruction project.
